The Student
Council is composed of elected student officers
(President and Secretary) from each 7th –
12th grade class and of general school officers
(President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer).
The Council functions as a communication channel
between the student body and the administration.
They contribute by suggesting improvements regarding
school policies that affect the student body
as a whole. They are also involved in organizing
fund-raising activities to carry out social
service projects within the local community.
Members of the Student Council
are responsible for being proper role models
for the entire student body. They should be
individuals of integrity and demonstrate responsibility
in academics and in the way in which they
conduct themselves. These individuals should
possess leadership and organizational skills,
have a positive attitude and be willing to
dedicate time to his/her office. The Student
Council will respect school policy and procedures
at all times and work to honestly maintain
a good relationship between the administration
and the student body.
