For those students that come from abroad, the final report card must comply with the following:
  1. If they come from a school where classes are given in a language different from the Spanish language, these grades must be translated and legalized by the Dominican Consulate located in place of precedence.
  2. If the grades are in the Spanish language, they only need to be legalized by the Dominican Consulate located in the place of precedence.
  3. These legalized grades must be taken to the Validation Department of the Education Ministry (Secretaría de Estado de Educación-SEE) in the Dominican Republic.
  4. The legal document emitted by the Education Ministry (SEE) plus a copy of the original grades must be deposited in St. Michael’s School.

Recommendations before evaluations.
  1. It is not necessary to study before the evaluation.
  2. Exams usually generate anxiety in children. If you are anxious you will transmit this to your child. Motivate them!
  3. Don’t generate great expectations with your child. The results will be better if their visit to the school is done in a natural and simple manner.
  4. A good night’s sleep and breakfast are important.
